This 18th-century farmhouse had great bones, but it needed to be completely renovated. The owners decided to carefully restore everything while paying homage to the home's history. They stripped away old paint and uncovered beautiful pine floors, built a new fireplace because the old one didn't work and used vintage furniture from their families to decorate.
The couple even decided to start an organic farm filled with chickens and ducks.

The kitchen is clean and bright, with a butcher block and open cabinets.
The kitchen opens to a large dining area that can accommodate 12 people--plus a lot of plants.
The bedrooms feature vintage furniture from the wife's family. A cheery coat of paint gives new life to the old beds.
The dining room, likewise, is filled with old pieces that perfectly suits the house's character. The owners spent years collecting the antiques and furniture that now fill their farmhouse.
The library features simple furniture but adds a show-stopping beaded chandelier.
Even the laundry room throws back to an earlier era, with--of course--a farmhouse sink.
